Ha! Look at them. Crazy...crazy... Crazier than me, they are! Well, try walking the earth as long as I have and see who you're calling crazy, anyway. But I'm not the problem...it's them. With their baby faces...slick skins, stretched too tight across corrupted souls that should have left this plane long ago.
Horrid creatures. Their desperation shines out from behind their eyes: eyes too bright, too wide, not seeing the truth of this place. I see it, yes, I do. I see them every day, going past my home, tight skirts, opened shirts...fashion has gotten a lot more revealing now that everyone looks perfect, heh.
Not me! Never! You won't get me near one of those places...sweet, sickening, they beckon...they call out your insecurities, your secret, shallow, wishes. And more than that, they say they can take away the fear. Live forever, young and beautiful...that's what they promise. To those that cling to shreds of youth with brittle claws, it is the sweetest prize they could offer. They'll pay anything--do anything to have it. Fear of the Lord has been replaced by fear of aging and their immortal souls will one day pay the price, believe you me.
I never did fear death...seems to me that when this withered old body decides to give out, I will gladly join the sweet by-and-by. I'll see my dear Robert again, and finally get away from this zombie-infested hell-on-earth. Yes, indeed, dying's only natural, part of the process.
You should see the way they look at me...like I'm some kind of freak, just because my face shows the signs of my long life. My wrinkles tell my story: good times, bad times, and worse times than those, even. But now I'm proud of them, proves I'm nearly a hundred years old, and still kicking up a storm!
Yes, you just wait and see...they'll soon know the fruits of their unnatural labor. Rotten at the core, this whole mess is. But no one lives forever, not even me, and when the end comes, and oh, it will come...you can be sure that all of this city, bloated as it is with ungodly fear and corruption...this whole place is gonna crash down into the fiery depths and stay there for all eternity as punishment for its crimes.

I'm stuck in a groove,
I didn't hear what you said,
Because there's too many tunes going round in my head
